Virtual Currency Purchases & Refunds

1) What you can buy
We may offer optional purchases of virtual currency (e.g., “Coins”) and related digital items used within Kiwi Rewards Arena features. These are digital-only entitlements delivered to your account.
Virtual currency is not legal tender, has no cash value, is non-transferable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or withdrawn.
2) Pricing, taxes & fees
- Prices are shown at checkout and may be in NZD. If GST applies, it will be included or clearly shown as required.
- Your payment provider, bank, or app store may add fees (e.g., currency conversion, card or processing fees). We do not control these charges.
- We may change prices and available packages at any time; changes do not affect already-completed purchases.
3) Billing descriptors
Charges may appear on your statement with descriptors such as “KIWIREWARDSARENA”, “Kiwi Rewards Arena Limited”, or an app-store/processor descriptor. Your receipt from the payment provider is the primary record of the transaction.
4) Delivery & issues
- Virtual currency is usually credited immediately after successful payment, but may take up to 24 hours.
- If delivery fails, do not repurchase immediately. Check your receipt and account balance, then contact us with the transaction ID and email used.
5) Refunds & cancellations (NZ)
Because virtual currency is a digital service/entitlement, purchases are generally final once delivered. However, nothing in this policy limits your rights under New Zealand consumer laws (including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986).
- If purchased via Apple App Store / Google Play: refund requests are handled by the relevant store under its rules. We may help verify delivery status.
- If purchased directly from us: we will consider refunds where required by law, including where virtual currency was not delivered, a charge is duplicated, or the service is defective or misrepresented.
- Accidental/unauthorised purchases: contact your payment provider and us as soon as possible. We may restrict accounts where a chargeback occurs or fraud is suspected.
- No “cash-out”: refunds (if granted) are returned to the original payment method where feasible; virtual currency cannot be exchanged for cash.
