Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account details: name/username, email, password (hashed), preferences, support messages.
• Usage & device data: IP address, device identifiers, browser/app data, pages/events, approximate location (from IP), cookies or similar tech.
• Rewards & transactions: points/activity history, redemption records, and purchase/in-app purchase metadata (timestamps, items, amounts, receipts/transaction IDs).
• Payment data: handled by payment providers; we generally do not store full card details.

How we use information

• Provide and maintain the site, accounts, rewards features, and customer support.
• Process redemptions and verify transactions; prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents.
• Improve performance, analytics and product features; diagnose errors.
• Send service messages (e.g., account, security, policy updates) and, where you opt in, marketing.
• Meet legal obligations and resolve disputes.

Sharing & disclosures

We may share information with service providers that help us operate (hosting, analytics, email, customer support, payment processing), and with authorities or advisers where required or reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights, or prevent harm. We do not sell personal information.

International processing

Some providers may process or store information outside New Zealand. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure comparable safeguards (e.g., contractual commitments and security controls) consistent with the Privacy Act 2020.

Your rights (NZ Privacy Act 2020)

• Request access to personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction of your information; if we do not agree, you can ask us to attach a statement of correction.
• Make a privacy complaint to us and, if unresolved, to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz).

We may need to verify your identity before responding. We aim to respond within a reasonable time.
